Polar Hunter Daffodil

Colour-changing blooms open earlier than snowdrops!
This unique new daffodil has so much to offer. It's a cross between a fall-flowering Narcissus viridiflorus and a spring-blooming daffodil. Each stem produces up to four flowers that start green and age to white, keeping a green glow. The more green in these 8 cm blooms, the longer they tend to flower. Most leaves appear after the blooming period—very unusual for a daffodil!

Temperatures affect daffodil colors. Warmer spring temperatures really bring out the deeper green hues in green daffodils, while cooler temperature bring out their yellow/pale green tones.
